The appearance and smell very much reminds me of honey (one of the major ingredients), dark in color and similar to pancake syrup consistency. The directions are in tiny print, easily overlooked on the box and slightly more dominant on the bottle lable. No medicine spoon or dropper in the package. The seal was a little hard to open, the tab is very small, a common complaint for me with mild arthritic hands. No sick kids around me at the moment, review is based on my personal tasting experience and other observations. We will definitely stock up our medicine cabinet with Genexa products. The ingredients are great, they are organic, clean products and most importantly, they work. This is my second Genexa product and I am very impressed.
